About Leandra
My name is Leandra and I am a qualified teacher in English (native language) with 4 years of experience. I completed my first TESOL course in 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa, after which I worked for Interlink School of Languages for 2 years in Cape Town. I then took the opportunity to perfect my qualifications in Austria and I completed for 6 months my Certtesol, CELT-P and TKT certificates. During this time, I worked for Abci in Austria and I was placed in many schools across Austria to teach young children. Back in South Africa, I took a job at EF International School Cape Town where I worked until recently to teach adults. I covered different levels from beginner to advanced which included tourism, general and business. I do not speak French. My name is Leandra and I am a qualified ESL teacher with 4 years experience. I base my lessons on the news students needs and focus on the 4 skills of learning a language which are reading, writing, listening and speaking. I use the adaptive learning style by preparing before the lesson and being innovate. It's important for me to stimulate discution which allows me to pinpoint pronunciation. Homework and constant feedback are key for learners growth.
