About Gavin
My name is Gavin, I am from New York City and I am a sophomore studying pure mathematics at the University of Chicago. I have a 3.88 GPA in Mathematics courses at a recognized top 10 university in the subject. I am a recent graduate of the Ethical Culture Fieldston School in Bronx, NY and got a 34 on my ACT. During high school I spent time as a volunteer math tutor, helping my fellow students with calculus, pre-calculus, geometry, and algebra.

I know that high school level mathematics can be challenging and that it can be difficult to get the needed support from your teachers. I offer an individual approach to support student's growth for their courses and preparing for standardized testing. Since I was in high school so recently I am able to truly relate with students and understand what parts of topics can be the most challenging.
