About Kayla
I've been singing ever since I can remember but have been in voice lessons and classes for seven years. I've been fortunate to work with a variety of professional voice teachers (Broadway performers, Masters in Vocal Pedagogy, professional opera singers), music directors, and doctors specializing in the voice from which I've learned everything I know!

After spending four years studying musical theatre & acting at Wayne State University, I've gained an arsenal of knowledge about music. I am an expert at finding audition material, teaching vocal health fundamentals, prioritizing storytelling in singing, and catering to your unique voice. I'm also very skilled in basic music theory and reading music. I've found that my teaching is most helpful for children 8-12, but I'm happy to help beginners of all ages!
