About Haylen
I am currently going into my third year of college at UW-Whitewater, where I am studying Music Education. My future goal is to become a music teacher, where I can watch students grow and learn to love music. Through my coursework and personal experience, I have gained knowledge that prepares me for teaching students all things music. I am committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that all can enjoy!

My approach to tutor is making sure that my teaching is student-centered and that each student has goals to achieve during the lesson. When I first meet with the student, I learn their learning style and adapt lessons that would fit the student the best. I have completed college-level courses that excel in my music theory, aural skills, and piano skills knowledge. I am also proficient in playing the Clarinet and Saxophone. I am always encouraging students to ask questions and have a safe and welcoming environment where they can learn.
