About Ndivhuwo

I am a dedicated Math and Science tutor with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Engineering Management, from the University of Cape Town and over three years of hands-on tutoring experience across all levels, from primary school through to university. My lessons are conducted online in English, making quality tutoring accessible no matter where you are.

My academic record speaks for itself. I achieved 100% in Physical Sciences and 98% in Mathematics, and went on to complete both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Cape Town. I understand these subjects deeply, and I know what it takes to excel in them.

I believe that real academic progress begins with genuine understanding. My teaching approach is concept-first: rather than drilling formulas or encouraging memorization, I take the time to ensure each student understands the principles behind the work. About the lesson

I hold a Master's degree in Engineering and have over three years of experience tutoring Math and Science across all levels, from primary school through to university. My lessons are conducted online in English, making them accessible to students anywhere.

My approach is concept-first. Rather than encouraging rote memorization, I focus on helping students genuinely understand the underlying principles so they can apply their knowledge confidently across different problems and contexts. I find that students who understand the "why" behind a concept retain it far better and perform more consistently under exam conditions.

A typical lesson begins by identifying where the student is struggling, then working through the concept from the ground up using clear explanations and relevant examples. From there, we move into guided practice so the student can test their understanding in real time. Sessions are both patient and goal-oriented, meaning we keep things supportive and low-pressure while still working purposefully toward the student's academic targets.
