About Joanna
Hi, I am Joanna Nguyen a current first-year Biomedical Science and Science Double Degree student at Monash University. Having just recently graduated in 2020 I understand the difficulty students encounter especially when studying from home online and would love to offer my services to you as I know how much a little help can do especially when you cannot directly go to your teachers for help. I want to help students gain confidence in their area of study and assist them in achieving high marks. As a veteran zoom user, I understand the software and am able to provide interactive lessons, I also like to use Onenote so that I can continue to help students with questions even outside of tutoring lessons.

I like to teach visually as this is how I have found it easier to learn. I also like to go through VCE Exam questions to help consolidate the content learnt in classes and explain how to answer questions thoroughly and in set time periods. For VCE students, a minimum of 1.5-hour lessons is suggested. As a student who has been to many tutoring companies, I understand the importance of keeping students engaged, managing time well to teach important concepts, and making sure that students can fully understand the content and apply it.
