About Maryann
"Breathing control and belting technique form the foundation of my technical approach. I am a detail oriented teacher who emphasises tone and resonance alongside precise microphone technique. Diction and articulation must be mastered for clarity.
Stage fear management is essential for performers. Pitch control and warm up exercises ensure a healthy vocal apparatus.
I focus on vibrato control while balancing head and chest voice. My 13 years of instruction includes supporting nervous beginners and exam candidates. I hold an MMus Vocal Studies from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama."

"You will start by exploring a personalised song list built around your specific range as we apply my Guildhall training to your unique voice. This methodical process ensures that we address the 10 specific vocal pillars in every single session to produce consistent results.
We dedicate significant time to physical alignment before moving into complex repertoire that challenges your current technical capacity. Because I prioritise objective feedback, you will track your progress through systematic recordings and detailed vocal analysis throughout our 10 minutes of initial warm up.
My objective remains the implementation of healthy habits that prevent strain during long practice hours. This structured environment provides the clarity needed to navigate challenging phrases with total confidence and ease.
You receive clear guidance on where to place your resonance for maximum power without sacrificing the health of your cords. We maintain this pace to ensure that each technical adjustment translates directly into a polished performance piece. By the end of our time, you will understand exactly how your body creates sound and how to replicate that process reliably. These sessions are designed to build a durable instrument that serves your artistic goals for many years to come."
