About Brittany
I am currently a middle school reading/English teacher and soccer coach. I received my bachelor's degree from Prairie View A&M University. I have a masters in curriculum and instruction from Grand Canyon University. This is my 8th year of teaching in the Houston area. My certifications are in English Language Arts, social studies, and English as a second language.

My teaching method is typically fun and engaging. I enjoy utilizing fun activities and technology to help students achieve their goals. My focus of expertise is 6th grade, but I have taught 7th and 8th grade. I am an expert at teaching my students where they are at and getting them to the next level. As a teacher I am constantly changing methods to reach varying needs of students. When I tutor students, I review skills that they are weak in or struggle.
