About Laura
With over 30 years of teaching experience, I have taught nearly 700 students. Approximately 95% have received Superior ratings in various competitions and adjudications such as the National Piano Guild. All have performed well on recitals and several have gone on to become professional musicians. One is even performing on Broadway (New York). A few have recorded their own CD's and some are school music teachers.

All lessons are taught by a teacher with 30+ years of experience teaching and a BA in Music with an emphasis in Piano and Vocal Performance. I teach ages 3 through senior citizen and students of all levels. I blend the traditional music reading methods with Suzuki style methods to arrive at the best strategy for each student. My goal is that students learn to play their instrument with proficiency ,but also with FUN. Students who enjoy learning their instruments will continue to gain a life long skill, hobby, and maybe even a career. Music helps the whole student for a lifetime! I am happy to teach you!
