Start of the lesson consists of any questions from the student.
The lesson continues with an explanation of the chosen topic for the day. This may include an explanation of any relevant formulas and any methods.
Then, an example problem is provided and I will show in detail how to work through it using the explained method and any relevant formulas.
Next, I will provide the student with a problem and observe the student solving it, the example problem and formulas will be available for the student to refer back to.
Next, a new problem will be provided and I will observe the student solve it, this time without being able to refer to the example.
Lastly, more practice problems will be provided for the student to solve outside of the lesson time if they do not already have some from their school to work through. I will solve these problems on my own so I can check the students answers. The student is allowed to leave any of these problems unsolved if they do not know how to solve them and I will answer any questions which may come up in the next lesson.
The lesson can also be recorded if the student wishes, so they can refer back to it later.
