About Maya
I am a first year medical student. I studied scientific subjects in high school, and got good results. In addition, I really like math and chemistry, as well as biology. I also enjoy to share knowledge and I have worked as a private English teacher.

I try to approach the subject I teach, in a way that is consistent with what high school exams demand. However, I think it is important to help the student to perceive the subject in a way that he is able to forget he is taking an exam, since that is the wayhe will truly learn. I am in favor of solving the students doubts and teaching him so that he plays an active role in the class instead of being a mere observer. Finally, I think it is important to send specific exercises to review what has been taught in class to consolidate knowledge, and begin the next class correcting them.

Maya es una profesora excelente, es muy organizada, agradable y cercana. He aprendido muchísimo con ella, no sólo he mejorado mis notas, sino que además, le he cogido el gusto a las matemáticas. Siempre está muy pendiente de adaptarse a las necesidades del alumno.
