About Viomande
I am initially a self-taught chemistry enthusiast whose passion was sparked by a deep curiosity about how chemistry builds every aspect of our daily life. Because I navigated this learning journey independently, I intimately understand where complete beginners struggle, how intimidating initial concepts can seem, and what it takes to break complex ideas down into clear, intuitive steps.
Currently studying Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Sydney, I teach because I want to demystify chemistry for high school students, spark that same genuine curiosity. Of course, my approach is productive, resulting in a complete beginner in HSC chemistry achieving 80+

My teaching approach focuses on building a deep conceptual understanding of core chemical principles. I connect multiple topics across chemistry to inspire students and help them see how different concepts fit together. During our 1.5-hour lessons, I ask targeted questions to test comprehension, spot knowledge gaps, and guide students toward arriving at answers independently.
