About Madison
I offer a combination of strong academic performance, proven teaching experience, and a high level of professionalism that students and families can rely on. I maintained a 97% average while completing 9 AP courses, demonstrating subject mastery and discipline.
Alongside my academics, I have extensive experience working directly with students. As a volunteer tutor in high school, I supported peers with a wide range of learning styles and academic goals. I offer tutoring for high school STEM courses, as well as SAT and UCAT preparation, grounded in both strong academic performance (97% high school average, 1550 SAT, 9 AP courses) and a deep understanding of how students actually learn.
I focus on helping students build systems for thinking. In STEM subjects, that means breaking complex problems into patterns, emphasizing conceptual understanding before memorization, and consistently connecting new material back to core principles. For standardized tests like the SAT and UCAT, I prioritize strategy, timing, question recognition, and decision-making under pressure.
What sets me apart is that I recently and successfully navigated AP courses and competitive testing myself. I understand common gaps, misconceptions, and stress points. I help students understand why things work and how to replicate that thinking on their own.
Lessons are designed for high school students across all levels, from those aiming to build a strong foundation in STEM to those targeting top scores in AP courses, the SAT, or the UCAT. I also work with motivated students who want to go beyond the curriculum, whether thatโs preparing for advanced coursework or competitive university applications.
