About Georgia
I have just completed my first year of medical studies at Keele university. Before this I was a residential support worker in a home and school setting for children with Special Educational Needs. In that role I assisted in lots of lessons in the classroom. I have also helped friends and family with successful applications to medical school.

I am dyslexic and was not a top performing student at school. I took 4 years out of studies to work and gain real-life experience. Due to this I have entered medicine as a mature student and have adapted my learning style to suit the way that I best gain for the course. I have shared my techniques with many of the students on my course and all of them have benefited considerably. They struggled to keep up with the workload after transitioning from A-levels and it was great to be able to assist them to understand their own learning style and to maximise their studying time.
