About Chenai
My Tutoring Experience includes in-person and online 1-to-1 and group sessions. I have lots of experience working with International (Worked in Mauritius on and off for 2 years) and UK Students with a wide range of abilities. I have the relevant training and certificates to adequatetly detect and report any breaches in Safeguarding Policy.
I have used the Online Lesson platforms in the past hosted by previous agencies I have worked for - I have no problem employing online platforms like Zoom, Skype and Microsoft Teams.
I often utilise software tools that connects my iPad Pro with Apple Pencil to the Student's screen to allow for seamless learning/tutoring with use of visual aid and pictorials.
I have been teaching and mentoring students informally since 2016, but I joined formal tutoring agencies in 2018. I have completed over 50 hours of 1-on-1 tuition. I also specialise in mentoring prospective medical students offering interview preparation session and a personal statement review service - I can proudly say that all of my previous students have gone onto study Medicine at Russell Group Universities.

Lessons will emphasise on using proven knowledge retention techniques to troubleshoot problems and master exam technique. I acknowledges that each student learns in an unique way and has the ability to adapt teaching styles accordingly to meet their needs.
I believe I am approachable and patient; I believe in encouraging students to foster a growth mindset - learning to not only cultivate academic success but gain the skills necessary to prosper in life. Because of my methods, all of my mentees have earned places to study Medicine at Russell Group Universities.
