About Lili
I grew up in Portland, Oregon, and currently live in Henderson, Nevada while attending medical school. I am currently taking a break from medical school and have enjoyed having the opportunity to spend more time sharing my knowledge and helping students build confidence in subjects that may feel challenging.
I have always enjoyed learning and especially appreciate being able to explain difficult concepts in a way that feels more approachable. My background in biochemistry, scientific research, and medicine has given me a strong foundation in math and science, as well as an appreciation for how differently people learn.
Outside of academics, I love spending time outdoors and staying active. In my free time, I enjoy gymnastics, running, and exploring new places. I aim to bring the same patience, encouragement, and positive attitude to tutoring that I value in my own learning experiences.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s current level, goals, and learning style. I focus on breaking difficult math and science concepts into clear, manageable steps and making sure students understand the reasoning behind each problem rather than simply memorizing an answer.
A typical lesson may include reviewing challenging material, working through example problems together, identifying areas of confusion, and practicing similar problems independently with guidance as needed. I also help students develop problem-solving strategies, study skills, and confidence that they can apply outside of tutoring sessions.
My background in biochemistry, scientific research, and medical school allows me to connect concepts across math, biology, chemistry, and other sciences. I aim to create a patient and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through mistakes.
I am happy to work with middle school, high school, and college students, including students who need help with coursework, exam preparation, or strengthening their foundational math and science skills.
