About Sarah

With a strong background in Engineering at McMaster University, I understand that Math and Physics can sometimes feel overwhelming. My goal is to make difficult concepts easier to understand by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps. I create a supportive and judgment-free environment where students can ask questions, learn from mistakes, and build confidence. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your fundamentals, keep up with coursework, or prepare for an upcoming exam, I’m here to help you succeed.

About the lesson

I take a personalized and encouraging approach to tutoring, focusing on helping students understand the “why” behind each concept rather than simply memorizing formulas. Lessons typically begin with a quick review, followed by clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice before moving to independent problem-solving. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs and pace, whether they need help with foundational concepts, challenging problems, or exam preparation. As an Engineering student with a Finance minor at McMaster University, I bring strong quantitative skills and experience breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps. I offer tutoring for elementary and highschool level Math and Physics students.
