About Rocky

As someone who had academic difficulties later on in their academic career, I relate to the struggles you are feeling. I understand how it feels to be confused, frustrated, and tired no matter what you try. That's why I chose to tutor, so I could be able to help those who are experiencing the same difficulties! I was able to turn things around and become a Pre-med student at McGill University. Anything is possible with the right amount of help and guidance, there's no reason to feel alone or hopeless. My experience as a tutor includes the following: T.E.A.M Mentor Biomechanics Course McGill University January • Taught weekly tutorial sessions for biomechanics at a university level for EDKP 208 at McGill University • Responsibilities included creating weekly teaching sessions, helping students with conceptual understanding, problem solving, and assessing any questions of in-class material • Material included Physics (mechanics/forces/angular physics/kinematics/kinetics), Biomechanical concepts, and Motor Learning. Tutor for students at a grade school level, high school level, CEGEP level, and University level • Grade school & High School Material - Math (Algebra/Pre-Calculus) - Sciences (Physics/Chemistry) • CEGEP Material - Essay writing - Math - Sciences (Physics). • University Level Material - Medical Grade Level Anatomy (Clinical Human Musculoskeletal & Visceral Anatomy) - Medical Grade Level Physiology (Bodily systems, ex: Blood, Respiration, Digestion, Immunology, Cardiovascular, Renal, Endocrine, Nervous, Cognitive Motor etc.) - Biomechanics & Motor Learning (Mathematical integration with biomechanical and Motor Learning/Developmental concepts). - Elementary School Teacher

About the lesson

Math and Sciences are often one of the most difficult subjects that most students have challenges with. My objective is to make learning these subjects fun and avoid students creating a bad relationship with these subjects.

- Every lesson is curated to make sure you develop the skills and tools necessary to efficiently understand math & sciences in a simple manner.

-Each lesson is catered to breaking down concepts and uniquely retaining information in a way that suits each student, whilst making sure they enjoy their experience.
