About Rylan

I am open to in person or virtual meetings. I am a pre-med senior at Brigham Young University and have kept a 4.0 grade average up to this point in a heavy science major. I am also a teaching assistant for an upper level histology class with challenging concepts. As a teaching assistant and college student, I have learned that the best way to learn something is to teach it to someone else. This has allowed me to become a great teacher. I will use this philosophy with my students to help them master the concepts they are learning. I love teaching and look forward to meeting with students to share my knowledge.

About the lesson

I am all about enabling students to find their own answers. I am also not afraid to admit I do not know the answer to a question. If this happens then I will do all I can to work through the problem with you until we find an answer.

Ethan

He was great at teaching difficult concepts while explaining not just the answer, but the reasoning behind the correct answer and why the incorrect answer was wrong. I loved working with him because he was very willing to study a concept if it was hazy and was great at working through problems with me. Overall, I had a great experience.
