About Willa
I am a Math tutor with over five years of experience and a BA in Mathematics. My academic background is rooted in topology and knot theory, two fields that explore shapes, spaces, and how objects transform without breaking. I enjoy making these abstract ideas accessible through clear visual aids. Sometimes a simple drawing helps students see what words cannot. I often connect lessons to real-world structures, including examples from molecular biology and physics. These links help students appreciate how continuous deformations and spatial reasoning appear in many disciplines. I work with learners who are curious about abstract mathematics, but also with those who approach Math through physics, computer science, or even artistic design. My sessions balance intuition with careful logic. Students learn to trust their visual understanding while building strong proof skills. I give them space to explore ideas and ask bold questions. I teach Maths with a calm and practical style that helps students feel confident from the very first session.
