About Keziah

I’m a secondary school science teacher, GCSE examiner, and experienced private tutor with over nine years of proven success supporting students across KS2–KS5. I’ve helped students prepare for SATs, 11+/13+ entrance exams, GCSEs, and A-Levels - achieving consistent results, including 100% 9–6 and A*–B outcomes.

My approach is student-centred: I tailor sessions to build on each student's strengths while addressing gaps through differentiated strategies. I place equal emphasis on mastering content and developing the study habits, exam techniques, and confidence that help students succeed.
Before becoming a teacher, I previously worked as a SEND Learning Support Assistant, giving me deep insight into the barriers some children face. I’ve supported students academically and pastorally, helping them gain entry to top selective schools, develop resilience, and unlock their full potential. Parents and students frequently comment on my ability to motivate, explain clearly, and act as a relatable role model.

About the lesson

My tutoring goes beyond simply covering curriculum content. I support students in developing strong study habits, revision strategies, and exam techniques. The skills that make a lasting difference across subjects. As a qualified teacher and examiner, I understand what examiners look for and how to prepare students for success.

I’ve helped students consistently outperform their predicted grades, achieving 100% 9–7 at GCSE and A*–B at A Level. I also have extensive experience preparing pupils for 11+/13+ exams and interviews, with successful entry into top grammar and independent schools.

Each lesson is tailored, engaging, and outcomes-focused — designed to boost both confidence and academic performance.

Keziah has built a great relationship with my daughter and has made her feel at ease/comfortable with her syllabus and her teachers have noticed a marked improvement in her work. I believe that by the time she sits her exams she will have no problems at all.

My children despised Maths and Science and my 16 year old was predicted a B/C in Maths and BB in double science. Keziah was with us for 5 months and within that time my daughter managed to exceed her predicted grades significantly (A and A*A*).
Keziah has this contagious enthusiasm which managed to engage my daughters from her first session with them. She was not only great at teaching the syllabus but gave my girls great tips for each exam which I believed enabled them to ace their exams! Her subject knowledge is amazing and she could answer any question my girls fired at her.
