I personally believe that making and repeatedly condensing notes is the best way to revise, followed by supervised past papers as exams approach. Of course everyone learns differently though, so flexibility of method is important. I reccomend doing a few sessions creating and revising your notes followed by supervised lessons covering past papers and Mark schemes.
