About Ayomide

I am a Mathematics and Computer Science student at the University of Birmingham, and I have a strong passion for helping others excel in their studies. Throughout my time in school, especially during my GCSEs and A-levels, I had tutors who significantly contributed to my academic success. Their guidance helped me achieve top grades and provided me with invaluable resources and problem-solving techniques that I will never forget. Inspired by this experience, I want to support GCSE students in maths and chemistry by providing clear explanations, structured revision techniques, and effective learning strategies. I understand how challenging these subjects can be, but with the right guidance and approach, I believe every student can build confidence and improve their performance. My goal is to make learning engaging, accessible, and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring they reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I specialise in helping secondary school students with GCSE chemistry. My teaching approach is tailored to individual needs, starting by identifying the areas students struggle with most. I focus on breaking down challenging concepts into simple, easy-to-understand parts, ensuring clarity and confidence. My sessions are one hour and include detailed explanations, personalised revision plans, and extensive practice with past paper questions, which helps students become familiar with exam formats and build problem-solving skills.
