About Sandip
Being a student, I had always wanted to know what is there in the human brain that makes sense of the world and makes things understandable. The journey to find the answer to this question has helped me to explore and teach mathematical skills and concepts in an innovative way to make students curious and lifelong learners. With over 9 years of hands-on, successful teaching experience, I am confident in my ability and passion to become a positive addition to the in the students community as a Mathematics Teacher. I have completed a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Also, I have earned an IB MYP Personal Project PD Workshop Cat 2 Certificate, and DP/CP Approaches To Teaching and Learning for DP/CP Classroom Teachers Cat 3 Workshop. Being a versatile individual, I have been very successful at accommodating diverse students’ needs by facilitating styles of learners, offering individualized support, and integrating effective materials. I encourage learning by using different manipulative, hands-on activities and various forms of technology. Because of my innovative approach at my current school, I have been awarded a certificate For being a Teacher With The Most Innovative Learning Methods.

I have explored and exercised various teaching and learning methods such as Inquiry-Based, Project-Based, Differentiated Strategies, Technology-Based, and using Dr. Benjamin Bloom’s Taxonomy and Kath Murdochs Inquiry Cycle. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I innovatively integrated technology into my lessons by using AssessPrep, ManageBac, GeoGebra, Desmos, Google Earth Pro, Google Maps, Google Sheets, and Google Forms. To make inquiries of the concepts interesting I have used online software such as Pear Deck, Edpuzzle, Padlet, Quizizz, and Kahoot.
Being a hardworking and open-minded educator, I welcome the opportunity with you to discuss more about how my diverse experience, collaborative nature, and innovative classroom skills would benefit the students.
