About Sejal
Hello! My name is Sejal, and I am a passionate Math and Coding instructor with over 8 years of teaching experience. I specialize in helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics and programming through engaging, personalized, and concept-focused lessons. My teaching journey spans classroom settings, enrichment programs, and individual tutoring, where I have worked with students from elementary through high school levels. I have successfully guided learners in mastering school curriculum, preparing for math contests, and developing coding skills in languages such as Python, Scratch, and Web Development. As an educator, I take pride in making complex ideas accessible and enjoyable. My goal is to empower students with not just the what but the why behind every concept—developing their problem-solving abilities and confidence along the way.

My teaching methodology is centered around a student-first, concept-driven, and interactive approach. I believe in building a strong foundation through clear explanations, real-life applications, and step-by-step guidance. I use a mix of teaching techniques based on the learner's style, including:
Socratic questioning to stimulate critical thinking
Visual aids like diagrams, charts, and animations to simplify abstract concepts
Scaffolded learning, breaking down complex problems into manageable steps
Gamified quizzes and contests to increase engagement, especially for younger learners
