About Saffia
Hello lovely student,
I am excited to introduce myself as your English teacher. My name is Saffia and I am from the beautiful land of Aoteroa, New Zealand. I hold a B.Ed qualification specialising in the subject of English. I am also a certified Life Coach and additionally hold a diploma in Social Services, New Zealand. I bring with me a wealth of experience and expertise in teaching English across all levels. With a passion for language and literature, I am dedicated to helping you improve your English skills and excel in your studies.
I have a proven track record of success in teaching English to students of all ages and backgrounds having taught in different countries such as New Zealand, Dubai, South Africa, Bahrain and India. My approach is dynamic and engaging, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, I am committed to helping you reach your full potential and achieve your academic goals.

As a tutor, I believe that learning needs to be creative, fun filled and exciting therefore I adopt a flexible and personalized approach to teaching English across all levels. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and making mistakes in order to learn and grow.
For beginner students, I focus on building a strong foundation in basics such as grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I use a variety of resources and exercises to help students grasp the fundamentals of the English language and practice them in real-life situations.
For intermediate students, I work on expanding vocabulary, improving reading and writing skills, and developing conversation abilities. I encourage students to engage in discussions and debates on various topics to enhance their communication skills and build confidence in expressing themselves in English.
For advanced students, I focus on refining language skills, expanding literary knowledge, and preparing for standardized tests such as TOEFL or IELTS. I provide challenging tasks and assignments to push students to go beyond their comfort zone and reach their full potential in mastering the English language.
Overall, my approach to tutoring English lessons is student-centered, caring and interactive. I believe in fostering a collaborative relationship with my students and tailoring my teaching methods to suit their individual needs and learning styles.
