About Alexis S King
As a master teacher and a natural learner I have built good relationships with my students and families through my warm and inviting presence, passion and high expectations for the learning environment. I encourage community and collaboration through positive praise, shout outs, and opportunities for community building. I value our students' opinions, feelings and learning style. This passion for our students as a whole helps me to create a safe, joyful, learning and collaborative space. I have mastery in teaching elementary reading/literacy, writing, math and science. I have mastery in teaching middle school science, reading, creative writing and 5-6th grade math.
