About Matthias
I am master student of one of Europeans best art schools the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and awarded with two remarkable art prizes.
In addition to that I developed high educational skills through the specialised German art teacher training. I worked also as artist-assistant in the studio of Tony Cragg.
I am Expert in the fields of painting, drawing, sculpture, graphic, art history and photography (analogue and digital, Photoshop, Lightroom).
Besides English and German, I speak fluent Italian.

Approach to Teaching:
Artistic work is always individual. Therefore all sessions will be planned together based on your individual progress and wishes.
You will deepen your skills by practical exercises on different spots and settings. You will discover different materials and working methods.
Finally you will find your own artistic way of expression.
Courses in small groups are available.

Matthias has been working with a 10 year old boy who is a complete beginner.
He has quickly developed a good rapport and has really captured his imagination. Rather impressively Matthias has managed to include teaching about art. He has also started developing a portfolio which has really given a focus to the lessons.
