About Eventine

As a student from an underserved community I know all too well of being misunderstood, frustrated and lost at the subjects you seek help in. I wish to share with my students my unique teaching style that employs multiple styles of learning and is tailored towards my student's every need. As someone who tutored many subjects throughout high school to help my peers graduate and continued my teaching career in undergraduate, I understand how difficult situations may arise that impede your learning experiences. I aim to create a safe environment where students can freely ask any questions, not feel judged and feel comfortable to move at their own pace. I wish to help you master and learn to love the material the same way I do and I hope I can help you achieve your goals.

About the lesson

I design my lessons based on the goals and needs of my students and are very personalized. If my students need help with one specific topic of a subject, my lessons focus more on concepts and applying them in multiple ways. If my student needs more practice problems for their upcoming exam, I have designed problem sets tailored towards specific sections as well as more general sets that mimic the formatting of exams. General lesson plans are typically combinations of conceptual learning, practice problems and mental mapping. My general lessons last an hour but if necessary I could alter the length of lessons to make them longer or shorter to accommodate the needs of my students. I aim to tutor undergraduate and high school students. My lessons are incredibly versatile to promote accelerated learning in the field of interest in a way that is most comfortable to the students. As a very patient person with over 4 years of tutoring experience I diligently work to create a safe environment where my students are excited to ask questions and explore the subjects that challenge them. As someone who initially struggled with the subjects that I tutor, I share a unique sentiment with my students as I was once in your shoes and I understand how difficult and frustrating courses can be.

Perfect! I believe he is a great explainer of the topics in chemistry because when I was with him doing the topics for chemistry it made more sense than when my teacher taught it to me.
