About Thomas

Having already given courses at several levels (Primary, College, High School) I am familiar with this working method as well as with the skills and qualities necessary to produce complete help for students.
Holder of a double degree in history and political science, I acquired the necessary reading keys in a certain number of so-called more human subjects (French, history, sociology, philosophy, languages, etc.). These keys allow me to analyze our contemporary societies and cultures in an interesting way. Thus, I would like to be able to pass on these keys to enable students to prepare for the university world and, ultimately, the professional world.

Being a scout leader for several years (and holder of the BAFA), I was able to acquire a pedagogy adapted to each age group, a skill that will allow me to precisely adapt the concepts transmitted and shared with the students. This long-standing commitment is coupled with an internship carried out in nursery school in 2013, an internship which gave birth to this taste for teaching and made it possible to develop this flexibility to be provided to the different pupils according to their qualities, strengths and weaknesses.

Organized, serious and diligent, my numerous associative and professional commitments have allowed me to develop these qualities, which I would be delighted to put at the service of the students.

About the lesson

Having often given lessons, the process is essentially the same for each student. By consulting the student beforehand on the themes that particularly require his attention, I often start with an hour of methodology, to assimilate a diligent working method allowing rapid progress. I then study a particular subject in greater depth, taking as support the exercises that are required of it (Restitution of knowledge for the youngest, comments and dissertations for the oldest). From there, I work on the exercise by stopping regularly on the knowledge to be mobilized in order to allow the student to assimilate and understand correctly the concepts worked on. Generally, the course ends with a rereading time on the session, also allowing to answer any questions from the student.
