About Christy
Christy Kate Bennett is a British-American illustrator based in the London area. She has a Master’s Degree in Illustration and Authorial Practice (Distinction) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration (First Class Honours) from Falmouth University, UK. She works in mixed traditional and digital media, and specialises in narrative illustration.

Your lessons will be tailored to working on a sketchbook (for A Level or GCSE Level examination) and/or portfolio for application to a creative university course/for use after completion of secondary school studies.
The focus of the lessons can cover:
- Drawing & Painting lessons: e.g. observational drawing, perspective drawings, colour theory, stylisation, blending techniques, experimentation/mixed media studies
- Writing visual critical studies with applied art theory and art history
- Sketchbook/Portfolio Presentation
- Organisation/Scheduling
- Understanding the creative industry/thinking to the future
The lesson's length can be catered to fit into your schedule but typically they run from 1-2hours.
Together we will work to get you the top grades in your subject and/or set you up to secure the university course position you are aspiring towards. For my GCSE sketchbook I achieved the top grade, for my A Level sketchbook I achieved full marks, for my Bachelor's degree I achieved a First and for my Master's degree I achieved a Distinction. I will work with you to achieve the same great results.
