About Yin
I am a Master of Development Studies expecting to graduate from the University of Sydney with an average First Class Honours. I finished my Bachelor of Arts in the U.S. (at Temple University), double major in History and Global Studies with a Chinese minor and receive First Class Honours (Summa Cum Laude) at the top 10% of my graduating class (my GPA was 3.98/4.0 unweighted). I have excellent records throughout primary school, secondary school and high school and always stand at the top 10-15% of my class. I have one year of experience as a tutor and teaching assistant for a university-level History class of over 100 students. I also led several ESL classes for adult learners in the U.S. and helped even basic beginners in English work their ways toward basic communications. I am currently serving as a private tutor in English professional speaking and communications for PhD international students at the University of New South Wales.

My core principle is that a tutor has a be a companion and works together with learners in their learning journey. I always listen and understand learners' needs and learning style before designing an appropriate curriculum and I always communicate with my students in adapting or changing the syllabus or study goals together at different stages. My classes are always fun, interesting and applicable in real-life situations in any subject.
