About Lucía

Currently in London, I have three nationalities and have lived in five countries, from Nicaragua to France.

I have an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences and have just began a masters in Urban Planning, a heartfelt topic which I'm eager to explore.

I'm very passionate about languages and have worked as a volunteer teaching children and adults for years. I've also had temporary jobs translating. I'm very sensitive to cultural exchange and love making new connections with people.

About the lesson

The content of my classes is very flexible, I aim to tend to each of my student's needs. Whether your intent is to learn from scratch, or you want to practice and develop your skills, we can set clear goals together.

Our goal will be to communicate solely in Spanish, but there are other languages I speak that we could lean on if necessary.
My classes are lightweight and enjoyable. We will use a range of resources such as apps, games, and videos. I find that the best way of learning a language is finding ways to make it fun and varied!

I offer both face to face and online classes, I find that different methods work for different people. Whether you feel more comfortable learning from home or you prefer benefitting from social interaction by meeting at a cafe, I'm flexible!
