About Nicolas
I'm a passionate guitarist and current university student studying Guitar Performance, with experience playing and studying a wide range of musical styles. I want to start teaching because I want to help others discover the enjoyment and confidence that comes from playing music. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to develop your skills, my aim is to make learning enjoyable, approachable, and tailored to your own musical interests.

My approach to teaching is centred around learning the music you love. I believe students progress faster when they're playing their favourite songs, so I use these as a foundation to develop technique, musicality, and confidence. Along the way, I naturally introduce music theory and technical skills, showing how they are used by the artists and guitarists you admire. This makes theory more engaging, practical, and easier to understand, helping you not only play songs but also understand how and why they work.
