Lifelong and award winning artist with 3+ years of teaching experience. I specialize in drawing & painting, and enjoy teaching beginner and advanced artists alike! I’m personally drawn to bright colours and bold strokes, and love painting subject matters such as flowers, animals and people.

I offer primarily project based classes, lasting between 1-3 sessions depending on complexity (weekly tutoring is available upon request). These projects can be student requests, for example: teaching you how to paint a specific flower, your grandmas ancient cat, or specialized classes for things like improving colour theory, observational skills or material specific techniques. If the student doesn’t have anything particular in mind, I am happy to provide custom projects.
I strongly value allowing students to explore what they want to learn. Before each project, we will set goals and expectations over what you want to accomplish and how we will get there. I will help hone your artistic eye, and teach you to recognize “happy accidents” in your own work so you can become more confident and self directed in your art.
