About Iqra
I am passionate about science and absolutely love teaching! I have prior tutoring experience with students in high school and want to continue to give back to my community. During my time at McMaster University, I have learned a lot of content and also how to excel in academia. I'm excited to share my knowledge with students.

I start my sessions with inquiring about what you're having trouble understanding. With this information, I do a short lesson on the concept and walk through practice problems together. Once you feel more confident in your skills, I encourage you to try practice questions without my help to see how you are understanding concepts. I use diagrams, graphs, tables, and interactive websites to convey concepts in various ways.
I focus on building strong foundations in math and science for middle school and high school students. I am well versed in the following courses:
grade 9 and 10 math and science
grade 11 functions, biology, chemistry
grade 12 advanced functions, biology
