About Sarah
As an experienced elementary teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and three years of classroom experience, I am passionate about helping students succeed. My tutoring approach is supportive, engaging, and focused on helping students truly understand what they are learning. With a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and three years of classroom experience, I work with students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in subjects such as reading, writing, language arts, math, homework help, and study skills.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs and learning style. Lessons typically include a quick review, direct instruction, guided practice, and independent practice. I use clear explanations, examples, and encouragement to help students build both their skills and confidence.
My classroom experience and my ability to be patient, encouraging, and flexible helps me create a positive learning environment. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and leave each lesson feeling more confident in their abilities.
