About Michael

I am a professional teacher with 5 years experience in public high schools teaching science and engineering. I have a bachelor's in science and a master's in teaching. I have tutored for 4 years. I work well with students of all ages, but I tend to focus mostly on high school and college students. Give me a shout, and let's see if we are a match!

About the lesson

We start with your needs. What is on the top of your mind. If you are totally overwhelmed and don't know where to start, we look at what is being talked about in class, on homework, and in tests and quizzes. I take you through the foundations of the topic, work through the formation of the material, and help you fully understand what is going on- all at your pace. I don't go faster than where you are at-I meet you where you are.

Mike gave an online lesson in physics to my grandson who is on the spectrum. He was patient and structured in his delivery and helped my grandson break down the problems into more manageable pieces. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Mike is amazing. He worked with my daughter who has a 504 for her ADHD and he helped her work through her chemistry work that had been dogging her for weeks. I highly recommend him for anyone wanting to get unstuck.

I have ADHD and have had a very hard time in Geometry and Algbebra. Mike has tutored me in both subjjects for a year now and I am more sure in my work. My grades are up and my parents are really proud of the work I do now. I am so thankful I found a tutor like Mike who has taken the time and effort to break down the lessons, take breaks, gimme the material in different ways and give me ways to understand the stuff I get in class.
