About Emanuela

Hello! My name is Emanuela, and I am an Elementary Education graduate with extensive experience working with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Throughout my teacher preparation program, I completed multiple classroom placements where I planned engaging lessons, differentiated instruction to meet individual learning needs, and helped students grow academically and personally.

I am passionate about creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where every child feels confident asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating progress. I believe that strong relationships, patience, and clear instruction are the foundation of successful learning.

Whether your child needs support mastering foundational skills, catching up in class, or seeking an extra challenge, I am committed to providing personalized lessons that meet their unique needs. My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help students develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

About the lesson

I believe every child learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to the student's learning style, pace, and goals. My objective is not only to help students complete assignments or prepare for tests but to build lasting confidence and a genuine understanding of the material.

As an Elementary Education graduate with extensive classroom experience in grades K–5, I use research-based instructional strategies, hands-on activities, visual supports, guided practice, and positive encouragement to keep students engaged. I break challenging concepts into manageable steps and regularly check for understanding, ensuring students master foundational skills before moving on.

A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previously learned concepts, followed by explicit instruction, guided practice, interactive activities or games, independent practice, and a closing review to reinforce learning. I also communicate progress with families and adjust instruction based on each student's needs.

I tutor students in kindergarten through fifth grade in math, reading, science, social studies, and homework support. Whether your child needs extra practice, enrichment, or help building confidence, I strive to create a patient, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their growth as learners.
