About Lydia
Having achieved top grades (9s in GCSE Chemistry and Biology and 100% in GCSE Maths), I understand what it takes to excel at GCSE level and I’m keen to share my study methods and exam techniques with others. I’ve also taken part in the Chemistry Olympiad and Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, which have strengthened my problem-solving skills and deepened my passion for both learning and teaching science. I have previously tutored students in both Maths and Chemistry, helping them gain understanding and confidence ahead of exams.

In lessons for GCSE Biology, Chemistry or Maths, which last 30 minutes to an hour depending on each student’s needs, I adapt to the student's learning style, helping them develop a clear understanding of key concepts before applying this knowledge through past exam questions. This approach helps students build confidence and improve their exam technique in a friendly, supportive learning environment where they can ask questions freely, make mistakes without pressure, and steadily improve both understanding and grades.
