About Madeleine
My name is Madeleine and I am currently studying A-levels - maths, geography and sociology. I enjoy finding the meaning and understanding behind all my subjects as I did in GCSEs, this allows understanding and development in areas of the subject to be easier and more enjoyable. Helping people in areas they struggle and watch them succeed with my help would be very enjoyable. I have previous experience with mentoring a younger student in the volunteering scheme at Greenhead College and would be a great asset to assisting anyone academically who needs it.

My name is Madeleine Winterburn and I think this tutoring job would be perfect for me as I feel I could help others succeed in areas I have previously. I did excellently in my GCSEs and would be a great asset in helping others do the same and achieve similar grades. Currently I am doing my maths geography and sociology A-levels at which I’m predicted AAA, this means that I would be a great help to others and love teaching in subject areas along these lines. Mathematics is a particular subject I am good at, I already do some volunteering at my college where I am mentoring and tutoring an A1. This has gained me some experience in the tutoring field and allowed me to understand how to explain mathematical equations and methods, ultimately leading to me looking for a job like this where I can assist others in areas they may struggle or need help.
