I am an aspiring medical student with predicted A* grades and a UCAT score of 2520, reflecting my strong work ethic and academic ability. I am highly disciplined and committed, having developed these qualities through overcoming challenges in my own education. Throughout my struggle, I learnt discipline is something that doesn't grow in just one day but over time. I often had to rely on independent study to fully understand difficult topics, which taught me resilience and effective learning strategies. This allows me to relate to students who may be struggling and provide clear, structured support to help them improve. I understand the difficulties many students face because I have experienced them myself unfortunately. During my studies, I did not always receive the support I needed in lessons; my teachers always looked down upon me and believed I wouldn't amount to anything, which meant I had to take full responsibility for my own learning. Having to rely solely on yourself is quite difficult, but I was willing to put that struggle in to succeed and alhamdulilah praise be to God it paid off. Through discipline, independent study, and consistent effort, I was able to improve my grades from a U to an A*. This journey has given me a deep understanding of how to overcome academic challenges, identify weaknesses, and build effective revision strategies. As a tutor, I aim to provide the clear guidance, patience, and support that I once needed, helping students gain confidence and achieve their full potential. I know exactly what every student needs from my experience with a broad range of students, even those with learning difficulties; my lessons provide no waffle but straight up everything you need to know.
