About Jamie
My mom likes to say I was born with a crayon in my hand, and honestly, she’s not far off. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. My parents recognized my love for art early and enrolled me in private lessons, and I was fortunate to have incredible art teachers throughout middle and high school who constantly pushed me to grow and do my best work.
Over the years, I’ve contributed artwork to numerous independent comic books and spent years as an Artist Alley artist at comic conventions across the East Coast. I was also the Grand Prize winner of the WeLoveFine/ForFansByFans Agent Carter T-shirt Design Competition.
Since 2017, one of my favorite personal projects has been redesigning the X-Men and their many allies and adversaries, combining my love of character design, superheroes, and comic book storytelling. Art has always been a huge part of my life, and I love having the opportunity to share what I’ve learned with other artists.
