About Emmely

I have always had a deep love for art and a strong desire to share my knowledge and skills with others - fun fact, I also work part time as a football coach and artist mentor at Tottenham Hotspur!

Teaching art allows me to combine my passion for creativity with my dedication to helping others discover and develop their artistic abilities.

I find immense joy in witnessing the growth and progress of my students. Seeing their confidence soar as they develop new techniques, experiment with different mediums, and discover their unique artistic voice is incredibly rewarding. I am committed to creating a positive and inspiring learning experience, tailored to each student's individual needs and aspirations.

I am approachable and friendly so please don't feel shy in contacting me if you need a bespoke lesson plan creating for a certain goal or idea you have in mind :)

About the lesson

Passionate and experienced art tutor with a strong background in various artistic mediums. Dedicated to fostering creativity and helping students develop their artistic skills. Skilled in providing personalized instruction tailored to individual learning styles and abilities. Committed to creating a supportive and inspiring environment that encourages artistic exploration and growth. Emmely Elgersma, a ceramicist-turned-artist, is also an accomplished art tutor. With a playful approach and expertise in unconventional materials, she creates whimsical sculptures and objects while exploring the meaning of everyday items. I have been commissioned previously by IKEA, Adidas, Sandqvist, TikTok and Paynter Jacket
