As a teacher of both English and Commerce, I am committed to delivering engaging, practical, and student-centered lessons that not only meet curriculum objectives but also equip students with skills relevant to real-life contexts. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that education should foster critical thinking, effective communication, and a solid understanding of the world of business.
My focus is usually around ensuring that i teach the subject in a way that it becomes second nature for the person. He/she is able to locate it in their everyday life in a playful manner.
Warm-Up / Recap (5-10 minutes):
Begin with a quick review of the previous lesson or a short interactive activity to activate prior knowledge and set the tone.
Introduction of New Topic (10-15 minutes):
Clearly explain the objectives and introduce the new concept through storytelling, examples, or a multimedia presentation.
Core Learning Activity (20-30 minutes):
Engage students in the main learning task — group work, reading analysis, problem-solving, or case discussion.
Class Discussion and Clarification (10 minutes):
Facilitate a class discussion or Q&A to deepen understanding and encourage critical thinking.
Assessment / Practice Task (10 minutes):
Allow students to complete a short task, worksheet, or quiz to assess comprehension.
Wrap-Up and Homework Assignment (5 minutes):
