I love the outdoors, gaelic football and computer games. I always try to find a common interest with my students so that I can explain the harder concepts in terms of things they already know. This helps students engage in the lessons more and stay focused for longer.

Medical student with a BSc in Chemistry.
I am a medical student with a BSc in Chemistry.
I know the leaving cert can be a very frustrating time. I offer a "How to study seminar" with all the techniques I used, and study methods to achieved 560 in the leaving cert. I can also provide insight on why my grades fell for the actual leaving cert and bestow the knowledge of the importance of balance in exam years.
I will happily teach Chemistry, Biology and Maths for both leaving and junior cert.
I have been a tutor for two years on different websites. My approach involves explaining hard concepts with everyday life examples and catering for each child's specific need. I help the student identify the areas they need help with, and work with them to achieve their specific goals.
100% exam focused.
Personally, I am first year university student in Limerick studying Medicine. This is my fifth year of college and have tried pretty much every study technique imaginable. I have worked out exactly which one's work and which ones don't.
For the leaving and junior cert exams, I will be modelling my curriculum off exam papers so that the students receive focused tutoring. Along with my study methods to guide the students, I show the students how to achieve top grades using my experience, as a H1 was the lowest grade I received in my leaving cert.
