About Erika Natalia
Hello everyone!! I am Erika and I am currently a last semester student of modern languages Spanish and English with an emphasis on English. I have gained experience in teaching English since 2014 through tutorials and classes taught in schools in Casanare and Boyacá. Finally, I managed to be part of an exchange to the United States for a year (2018 - 2019), in which I monitored tasks of children from 4 to 9 years old.

My teaching method is based on real and communicative learning. I prefer that my students know the language through real situations taking into account the Colombian culture and American lifestyles. My classes are divided into 4 moments: preparation, introduction to the subject, guided practice of the subject and finally, production by the student. The latter consists of seeing how the student makes use of the knowledge / topic that is studied during a session. As a teacher and student I prefer to design my own material which is eye-catching, motivating and interesting for my students.
