About Jennifer
I have three years of tutoring experience as a tutor at Eckerd College. As a tutor at Eckerd, I have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing me to connect with the students with whom I work. I employ techniques such as using the hobbies of the students for explanation and characterizing the elements on the periodic table. I make chemistry seem to be a subject that should not be feared, but something that is interesting to learn. There is nothing more exciting than watching a student's eyes light up when they understand the material. I would be delighted to begin tutoring and helping many more students.

I am currently working as a Research Assistant in the bio-analytical chemistry department of an international biomedical research firm.
I have excelled in college in all math classes through Calculus II.
My work experience and coursework/labs at Eckerd in Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Advanced Inorganic Chemistry have equipped me with a solid knowledge and understanding of theory and practices to make strong contributions as a science tutor. I also have minors in Geoscience and Marine Science.
