About Philip
I’m a twice published historian, I’ve had a varied career in a short span across journalism, foreign trading, international diplomacy, art gallery curation, and even documentary filmmaking! Teaching has been the best avenue for me to redeploy all of the skills i’ve been lucky enough to accumulate since I graduated with a dual honours degree from King’s College London in 2018. It’s fulfilling and there’s no better motivation than seeing a student become more confident in their intuitive ability to make tangible decisions!

I focus on tailoring students conversational skills to scenarios and vocabulary that they have a specific vested interest in. This helps to make study elements memorable. For instance I have helped Spanish lawyers prepare testimonies in English, Taiwanese software engineers present their business plans in French, and even helped children understand their favourite sports by guiding them through interviews and press conferences in other languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese & Italian).
