About Genesee
Throughout my elementary up to my high school years (which I’m still going through), English has always been my powerhouse subject. I love to dive into a new story, learn about new characters, and grow emotionally attached to them because of the situations the author puts them through. I have a strong sense of emotional intelligence when it comes to reading people’s actions, words, statements, and even body language. And all throughout these school years, I’ve sustained an A in English, even up to my high school years.

People believe that reading is the most boring subject in school, well at least from my own experience. Growing up, reading was my escape to imagination. While some see reading as a boring block of words on paper, I see it as a journey that can help visualize whatever your brain shows you. Reading helps build a proactive mind, an understanding of words, discovering new words, even helps you develop emotional intelligence thanks to the diversity of the characters you read about. It’s the same in documentaries and biographies of someone’s life!
